Happy July!

Now that we're officially through the 2nd quarter of 2022, we're following up on last quarter's Least and Most Expensive Home Sales in Everett with a fresh update. Check out Everett's least and most expensive home sales from this most recent quarter, April-June 2022.*

Least Expensive

To find Everett's least expensive home sale, I searched for single-family homes that had sold for less than $400k. Ten results appeared in total, but the most affordable and generally move-in-ready home seemed to be this cute little 1 bed 1 bath on Rockefeller near Everett Community College that sold in late June for $338,000.

Oh wait, did I say it was a 1 bathroom? Actually, it only has a .75 bath with just a shower and no bathtub. While this cozy 576 sq ft home had an unfinished basement, allowing for more possible living space, this tiny abode likely would not work for most families that need more space from the get-go. The most affordable 2 bedroom homes seemed to start closer to $400k, but they have even been a rarity, as Everett's average housing price this last quarter was around $700k. Housing affordability remains a significant hurdle in Everett.

Most Expensive

On the other side of the spectrum, Everett's most expensive home sale from last quarter … well, technically, there were a couple more expensive ones, but this 4,000 sqft, 4 bed, 3.25 bath house on View Ridge Drive had the most available images. And with a sales price of $1.65 million, it was one of the most expensive home sales from last quarter.

The home features gorgeous panoramic water views. A large basement with a wet bar. 16,000+ square foot lot, including a large, professionally manicured yard. And it's conveniently located right down the street from Howarth Park. So if the price tag and current $779/month property taxes were in your budget, this certainly would not be a bad place to call home!

Nevertheless, after sifting through the single-family homes in Everett over the last three months, here's what I found.
