If you ever dreamed of wandering through a misty Highland village and accidentally falling in love, Village Theatre’s production of Brigadoon is calling your name. (And yes, it’s totally okay to let the romance sweep you off your feet.)
Misty Mountains, Magic Moments
Brigadoon — with book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe — tells the story of two Americans, Tommy and Jeff, who wander into the Scottish Highlands and “happen upon” the enchanted village of Brigadoon. The catch? Brigadoon only appears for one day every 100 years. Home to sweeping romance, graceful dance, and unforgettable songs like “Almost Like Being in Love” and “The Heather on the Hill,” this musical is equal parts dreamy and heart-tingling.
The version Village Theatre is staging includes a refreshed book by Brian Hill, which deepens the emotional core while still giving us plenty of wild Highland revelry.

Evenings: 7:30 pm
Matinees: 2:00 pm (on select Saturdays & Sundays)
Some Thursdays also have 2:00 pm performances (but not for every week)
