What’s the most challenging part of being an artist, or something you had to overcome?
Being a perfectionist and always feeling that there are ways to improve the story I'm writing. After a certain point, I have to force myself to publish, otherwise I'd never get my stories out!

How can people be supportive of the arts?
I think some people don't realize that a lot of the support isn't just buying art, but following the artist’s social media channels, leaving reviews, or reposting/sharing their posts. It's free to do and takes minutes. A little goes a long way and the exposure is incredible for artists!

Favorite place in Everett to eat?
Scuttlebutt for the burgers, El Paraiso for the margaritas and fajitas!
Favorite quote and/or words to live by?
I have many, but one of mine is from a movie called Midnight in Paris, "The artist’s job is not to succumb to despair but to find an antidote for the emptiness of an existence."
What's next for you?
Write more books! The sky is the limit for 2022.
