Get to Know 607 Marketplace: Everett's Coolest Strip Mall

Editor’s note: updated June 1, 2022.

If you keep up with the Live in Everett Podcast and Live in Everett TV, you've heard multiple references to Everett's Coolest Strip Mall by now. Its real name is 607 Marketplace, and you can find it at 607 SE Everett Mall Way. It's at the corner of 7th Ave SE, which is also a convenient way to get there.

The Chew Crew were already fans, having eaten together at Pho Asia Noodle House and Su-Bee's before our debut blog post about Mis Antojitos. Su-Bee's has closed permanently in the meantime, along with Bricks and Minifigs (still open in Monroe!), but a strip mall that size always sees some turnover. Existing businesses can change, too. Alida's Bakery was formerly wholesale only, but they now have a retail counter where you can pick up incredible naan, pitas, tandoor bread and baklava. I wish I'd tried that, but we had double desserts at a birthday dinner the night before. Back home, I made a great breakfast pita and lunch tandoor wrap the next day.

The menu at Hawaiian Sun BBQ is huge and I was alone when I went. Not knowing where to start, I finally chose the Spam and egg burger. It was like a cross between breakfast my dad might make and the legendary Lotaburger I miss from back home. Total nostalgia bomb with perfect fries on the side.

Looking for late-night bites? Taqueria El Rinconsito is open until at least midnight seven days a week.

And if you've been eating too many cookies and tamales, there's always Northwest Fit Meals, which specializes in healthy meal plan delivery. You can pick their food up at North Corner Studios after your strength training or group cycling class.

I discovered a game shop when I realized this strip mall has stores in back instead of just an alley. Check out Moon Dragon Games and be sure to get a selfie with the dragon in front.

It's too bad there aren't apartments above the shops because there's so much great stuff here. There's a daycare and a gas station. You can also get your brows threaded and a manicure, or even a haircut at Starcuts. Explore the whole strip mall and relax with dinner and some beers at Middleton Brewing.

607 Marketplace has more than something for everyone; there are lots of good things happening there. Explore Everett's Coolest Strip Mall and tell us what you love about it.
