Everett’s about to trade traffic cones for basketballs as Colby and Wetmore Avenues transform into hardwood heaven for the 4th Annual Everett 3on3 Basketball Tournament, happening July 12–13.
If you’ve never seen 40 basketball courts take over downtown, you’re in for a slam dunk of a surprise. Hosted by Eventuris and the City of Everett, this two-day tournament turns the heart of the city into a vibrant, high-energy mix of street hoops, music, food, and serious community vibes.
And it’s not just about 3-on-3 bragging rights. This year’s lineup includes a skills challenge and a dunk contest, sponsored by Tulalip Resort Casino. So whether you’re a baller, a backboard-breaker, or just here for the snacks and hype, there’s something for everyone.
Mayor Cassie Franklin summed it up best:
“There’s nothing like seeing downtown transformed into a high-energy hub of basketball, music, and community pride… it’s a weekend that brings everyone together.”

Expect action-packed courts stretching down Colby Avenue (between Pacific and Everett) and along Wetmore Avenue (between Hewitt and Everett). Local businesses get front-row seats to all the action — so don’t be shy about grabbing a bite, snagging some merch, or cheering on your neighborhood team.
Major props to Boeing, the presenting sponsor, and Amazon, who’s hooking every player up with a swag-filled bag. As Boeing’s Bill McSherry put it:
“Everett is more than where we build airplanes — it’s home… we’re proud to support an event that brings people together through healthy competition and celebration.”

Ready to run it back, Everett? Whether you’re lacing up, hyping up, or just showing up — this tournament is fast becoming one of the city’s favorite summer traditions.
Let’s ball, Everett.
