Best of 2019: Top 10 Blog Posts of the Year

Blogs. Articles. Stories.

Regardless of what you want to call them, we’ve published quite a few of them in 2019. We’ve reviewed our analytics to see which ones you all seemed to enjoy the most. So without further ado, here’s our top 10 most read blog posts of 2019:

10. South Everett's Creative Cuisine Capital: 9 Delicacies

Small yet mightily tasteful. 9 Delicacies’ South Everett restaurant takes Korean Fusion to a whole new level. Just ask the Chew Crew.

9. Get to Know 607 Marketplace: Everett's Coolest Strip Mall

Who knew? What started as a joke became one of our top posts this year. This strip mall really does have a lot to offer. Christopher Bragg’s got the low-down for ya.

You guys really like food. And Chicken, too, apparently. Our carnivorous readers enjoyed taking a bite out of this one.

7. Jasmine Diedrich & Everett’s Espresso Stand Empire

This piece by Richard Porter is one of our personal favorites. How many twenty-somethings are building empires around Everett? Take notes, kids. Jasmine Diedrich’s an inspiration.

6. Find Your New Filipino Favorites at Gracie's Cuisine

5. The Success of Sawdons’ Sunken Ship

The Sawdons’ have made quite the mark in Everett. Learn how they made it happen as Christa Porter shares the story of Everett’s one and only tattoo shop and vintage retailer.

4. Downtown Everett’s Ghost Town

Likely the most you will ever see of a ghost town. Richard Porter take us for a tour of one of Everett’s lesser known (and completely inaccessible) spaces. Likely more ghostly than ever as the YMCA has recently moved to a new location.

We brought back the Food Truck Festival in 2019, and ya’ll seemed to enjoy it! Thanks to everyone who came out. We can’t wait to share with you what we’re planning for 2020, but suffice it to say you just may want to mark your calendars for August 29, 2020.

2. The Great Indoors: Stuff to Do in Everett When it Gets Dark at 4 PM

Apparently we’re not the only ones who have to fight off the SADs during Winter. Garret Hunt has a few ideas for getting out of the house and enjoying some Winter-friendly fun around Everett.

1. Paine Field Update: It Looks Darn Good in There

It does look darn good in there. And it doesn’t hurt that Richard Porter is a darn good writer, too. If you haven’t familiarized yourself with the new Paine Field Airport yet, do yourself a favor and read on.
