Bayside Block Party & National Night Out

The Reptile Lady at the Library 🦎🐍

Get up close and personal with creatures from around the world during this exciting and educational reptile encounter! On Friday, August 22 from 10:30–11:30 AM, April Jackson—also known as The Reptile Lady—will bring her scaly companions to the Everett Public Library's Evergreen Branch for an engaging show the whole family will enjoy. Paw-Arty: Community Paint Day at the Schack 🎨🐾
Looking for a fun way to support local shelter pets? Head to Schack Art Center on Friday, August 1st from 12:30–2:00 PM for Paw-Arty — a community painting session hosted by PawsWithCause.

This all-ages event is “pay what you can,” with all supplies provided and no experience needed. Enjoy 90 minutes of creative fun with fellow animal lovers, all while supporting a great cause. Donations for shelter pets are gratefully accepted, and all proceeds benefit local rescue organizations.

The Everett Fourth of July Parade starts at 11:00 AM, bringing downtown to life with colorful floats, high-energy marching bands, local community groups, and all the red, white, and blue you can handle.

Organized by the Everett 4th of July Foundation, a volunteer-powered nonprofit, the parade is a celebration of the pride, creativity, and community spirit that makes Everett shine.

Free parking is available at Everett Station, with a shuttle running to the parade route for easy access.

Bike Everywhere Month is hosted by Cascade Bicycle Club across the entire region, and filled with commuting challenges for individuals and teams, events such as Bike to School Day and Bike Bashes. Bike Everywhere Day

The annual “Bike Everywhere Day” (formerly “Bike to Work Day”) is held on the third Friday of May. Celebrating our biking community and bringing cyclists of all levels together to encourage the growth of Everett's biking infrastructure. Games, bike safety checks, raffle prizes, biking maps, and more are available from Bike Everywhere Day partners!
