The Evergreen Community Orchestra will be performing a FREE holiday concert, titled “A Family Gathering”.

The orchestra will perform some holiday favorites, including “A Charlie Brown Christmas”, as well as the electrifying “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo”. Members of both the Everett Chorale, and the Snohomish County Youth Chorus, will join the orchestra on stage for some of the pieces. And the audience is encouraged to participate in some of the singalongs too. We will conclude with the rousing Hallelujah Chorus by Handel.

Ring in the holiday season with the Everett Philharmonic at its annual family concert, Music for the Imagination! This shorter, no‑intermission program is designed to delight energetic youngsters and seasoned music lovers alike. Britten’s Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra will introduce the instruments with melody and harmony. Holiday favorites like The Nutcracker and Polar Express will warm your festive spirit. Be inspired by our 13‑year‑old piano soloist, and join the fun as children in the audience help create the BOOM of the 1812 Overture and jingle sleigh bells in the finale.

Pianist and improviser Gary Christiansen returns to Hartley Mansion for an unforgettable afternoon of spontaneous composition inspired by the tides. With no set list and no sheet music, each note unfolds in real time, blending jazz, blues, classical, and memory into a soulful, captivating performance.

Set against the elegant backdrop of one of Everett’s historic landmarks, this one-of-a-kind concert invites audiences to experience the raw beauty of music as it’s created from the heart.

The Moonlight Swing Orchestra will be playing classic sounds of the Big Band Era, with occasional pop numbers thrown in. Come hear the great sounds of Dorsey, Ellington, Miller and Shaw among others. With well over 200 years of cumulative experience, the band consists of an eclectic group of musicians, many with professional experience and the rest , talented amateurs who all share the same love of performing this nostalgic music from the Big Bands.

Old Dominion’s bringing their music straight to the fans. From the decks of commercial fishing boats to the keys of a Steinway Grand Piano, Gary Christiansen’s journey is as deep and unpredictable as the sea he once fished. A 30-year commercial fisherman and former theater organist during the golden era of “Pizza and Pipes,” Gary didn’t truly embrace the piano until his 30s—when the floodgates opened.

Huntington’s disease affects tens of thousands of families - and Araless’s new album Nemesis turns that fear into music.

Nemesis is a 17-track concept album following a man’s fight against his inner demon born in the shadow of Huntington’s disease, the fatal genetic disorder that claimed his mother and sister. Blending hip-hop, rock, trip-hop, R&B, and blues, it examines the fear of a diagnosis, the weight of grief, and the struggle to preserve identity in the face of inevitability, while confronting the stigma around mental health. Across its arc, the protagonist faces his insecurities, chooses to be tested, learns he is free of the disease, and banishes the demon for good - emerging with a hard-won sense of purpose and gratitude.

The album will be celebrated with a release show on September 19th at Lucky Dime in downtown Everett, followed by a small tour to bring the record’s story to live audiences. Araless will be joined by DJ Lefty and Lu Hernandez
