We’re super thankful to our Live in Everett Members - local organizations who have stepped up to help make Live in Everett possible. One of those local organizations we recently caught up with is Welcome Magazine; Snohomish Counties first and only luxury magazine. A welcome addition to our community.

what makes WELCOME MAGAZINE different?

Welcome Magazine is the only Business, Travel and Leisure magazine representing Snohomish County and its cities and towns. We offer insightful and inspiring stories about the people, businesses and places that make this area one of the top places to live or visit in Puget Sound. It is the only Magazine distributed at Paine Field Airport Terminal.

Our magazine highlights the natural beauty, dining, shopping, and the casual living style in our region. Articles and features showcase local businesses leading the way in technology, sustainability, manufacturing and development. We look forward to covering the topics, influencer’s, and entrepreneurs that are shaping our future

What's your favorite thing about what you do?

My favorite thing is seeing the impact our stories have in our community. From more butts in the seats at our farm to table restaurants, people discovering our local artists, galleries, our great out doors and waterways. To presenting Paine Field Airport - named the Best Regional Airport in the World. It has forever changed the face of Snohomish County. I love knowing that we are representing and showcasing the very best of Snohomish County.

What is the most challenging thing your organization has had to overcome?

WHAT ARE Your most important values?

We value sustainability in our region - our native tribes, culture and organizations - we value diversity, equity and inclusion. We value quality - integrity and honesty.

Favorite thing you've done to give back to the community?

We launched SnoCo Delivers on Facebook. It has been a great resource for local businesses during Covid-19. Giving back to local farms & restaurants has been one of our favorite things.

What can Everett expect from you in the future?

Everett can expect us to cover its rich history in our Fall and Winter issue. We will also cover retail shopping and some of its great restaurants. Look forward to continuing and compelling stories that uncover or rediscover the wonderful places and people that make Everett one of our favorite cities in Snohomish County.

What's your favorite thing about Everett?

I have lived in Everett for over 25 years. Beyond being surrounded by nature, I love the diversity of Everett. From the Children's Museum, Schack Art Center, Village Theatre & Angel of the Winds Arena - to the incredible variety of restaurants and small retail shops. After all these years in Everett I always find something entertaining an excellent meal and local shops where I know the owners and they know me. I also love doing business in Everett. The business community is so supportive and very enthusiastic!

Favorite place to eat in Everett?

That's a very difficult one - I guess my favorite spot for a quick casual meal would be El Paraiso - those handmade fresh tortillas get me every time. Next would be Chianti Italian - there are so many it’s hard to pick!
