Everett Food Truck Festival: 5 MORE Food Trucks We’re Excited For

Last week we shared 5 food trucks we’re excited to try at the Everett Food Truck Festival. But wait, here’s 5 more we’re excited to try at the big event on August 28!

Mai’s Bamboo Deli

A late entry, but deliciously welcome addition to the festival. Mai’s Bamboo Deli is a Vietnamese deli with everything from Teriyaki plates to creative Banh Mi sandwiches. Owner, Mai-ly, also serves up traditional dishes taught to her by her mom when she traveled from Vietnam during the war.

Wingz & Thingz

Wingz and Thingz is from Skagit county where they serve southern-style wings the traditional way, with 15 flavors to choose from! If wings aren’t your thing, check out their chicken tenders or cheese sticks.

You may even find yourself as happy as Rick E. from Yelp, “Sorry no photo, because I ate it all. Delicious quality wings, traditional, exactly what one would hope for.”

Yummy Catch

Yummy Catch food truck specializes in Southern-style fried seafood and sandwiches, as well as Asian cuisine. We’re eyeing the Southern Style Fish and Fries with creole seasoning. Though we can’t decide between homemade tartar sauce or remoulade sauce, mostly because we don’t know what remoulade sauce is.

According to a quick google search, “Rémoulade is a European cold sauce based on mayonnaise. Although similar to tartar sauce, it is often more yellowish, sometimes flavored with curry, and sometimes contains chopped pickles or piccalilli. It can also contain horseradish, paprika, anchovies, capers and a host of other items.” Sounds like either sauce is a winner in our book!

The Food Atlas

The Food Atlas serves Indian Street Food and they claim that your taste buds have never experienced anything like it. They have Samosas, Pakora, Mango Lassi, Fried Fish, and their specialty; Chaat! According to The Food Atlas, “Chaat means finger-licking good. Try it!” Don’t mind if we do. Everything they make looks remarkably delicious.

Street Treats

You’re planning to save room for dessert, right? Street Treats is a premier ice cream food truck and caterer in the Puget Sound area. They make everything from scratch including their own ice cream. Their specialty is custom ice cream sandwiches. Need we say more?

And don’t forget the rest of the fun happening at the festival. Catch the Everett Makers Market featuring local artisan vendors. Upper Left Beerfest will have a DJ on Friday and live music all day long Saturday. Beerfest will be featuring local breweries, cideries, seltzers and mead from over 25 breweries! You can snag Beerfest tickets here.

The Everett Food Truck Festival and Everett Makers Market are free and open to the public (unless you buy something, of course).

We look forward to seeing you at the Food Truck Fest on August 28.
