What inspired you to start your business AND WHAT MAKES YOU UNIQUE?:

A family member that lived and raised there children in Hawaii and when they came back to the mainland started Myke's Shave Ice in Bellingham. We were living in Arizona at the time and started our business there as a side gig. Instead of a food-truck we opted for mobile carts so we could do indoor and outdoor events. A few years later moved to Lake Stevens Washington and have been selling Shave ICE in Snohomish County seasonally ever since!

What's your personal favorite item that you serve?:

Our Hawaiian ParadICE: Mango-Guava-Passion Fruit with a Snowcap!

What food do you serve that your customers like the most?:

We only sell Shave Ice, so I would have to say it is loved period!

What’s the most challenging part of running your business or an obstacle you've had to overcome?:

Finding an approved commissary or kitchen close to where we store our trailer/carts to meet Snohomish County health guidelines.

Does your menu cater to any food allergies, vegetarian, or vegan options?:

Gluten Free, Vegan, Sugar-Free

Favorite place to eat (other than your business)?:

The Bistro in Arlington

Favorite place in Everett to hang?:

Waterfront/Marina

Favorite quote and/or words to live by?:

A grateful heart is a magnet for miracles. When you are grateful for everything around you, even for things you may not understand at the moment, you improve your satisfaction with life. Be grateful for all that you have done and for all that you still want to do!

We are looking forward to bringing the 2023 Everett Food Truck Festival traditional Hawaiian Shave ICE!
