Get ready, Everett—Fisherman’s Village Music Festival (FVMF) is back for its 12th year, bringing three days of genre-defying music, immersive art, and community celebration to the heart of the Pacific Northwest. Running this weekend, the beloved independent festival is making a bold return with an electrifying mix of national headliners, rising local stars, and a brand-new home: the APEX Art and Culture Center.

After years of battling spring drizzles like the ones in this week’s forecast, Everett Music Initiative announced that they would pull all the shows inside Everett’s culture and nightlife hub, APEX Everett. With the recent addition of El Sid, the new coffee and cocktail bar with a stage at APEX, the move creates an opportunity to take weather out of the equation and give attendees a short walk up/down a staircase to see the next act. This fits the original vision of the festival; to provide music fans a chance to discover emerging acts as well as national headliners.

This year’s festival lineup is stacked. Main stage will include Seattle soul sensations The Dip, who most recently sold out big rooms across the country, and headlined two sold out shows at Showbox at the Market last year. Bay Area rapper LaRussell will kick off the main stage on Friday, and has gone viral with recent tracks with Snoop Dog, Wiz Khalifa, an NBA All Star Game halftime set and several videos with his pal Marshawn Lynch, garnering 1.7 million IG followers. The main stage lineup also boasts indie folk favorites Blind Pilot and power pop stalwarts Telekinesis. Local heroes La Luz will also bring their surf-noir sound to the stage, representing Seattle’s thriving music scene.

The festival will spotlight a diverse slate of breakout talent as well, such as fiery rock duo The Black Tones, Shaboozey-endorsed newcomer Luke Borchelt, The Voice alum Zan Fiskum (Snohomish County), and Everett’s own soulful country artist Antwane Tyler. Most recently joining the roster are rock powerhouse BEARAXE, psych rock artist Scott Yoder, garage rock trio Serpentfoot, and rising folktronica artist Alex Johnston, among others.

“Fisherman’s Village Music Festival is truly a labor of love,” says festival founder Ryan Crowther. “This year’s lineup is a celebration of how far we’ve come and a look toward where we’re going. We can’t wait to bring our fans three days of unforgettable music, art, and connection at APEX.”

The move to APEX marks a major upgrade for the festival experience, offering a unified space with three indoor stages, an outdoor beer garden, and access to the Dogtown Collection—the world’s largest collection of graffiti and urban art on canvas. EMI has also invited Mad Alchemy Liquid Light Show to transform Kings Hall into a new universe, while Donavan Rosling will be running lighting at 16Eleven and El Sid. Luke Kehrwald from Performance Sound will be installing a top notch PA for Kings Hall and overseeing audio production for the event, ensuring a magical experience.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office located in the activated back parking lot of APEX Everett at 1611 Everett Ave. In addition to the box office, the back lot will offer a beer garden and Tacos Penachos serving authentic tacos. The festival will also bring back the crowd favorite Diva Drag Brunch on Saturday from 1 to 3pm at the El Sid stage.

Produced by the Everett Music Initiative (EMI), FVMF has helped transform Everett into a legitimate music destination. Since its launch in 2012, EMI has hosted over 500 events, attracted 400,000+ attendees, and provided a critical platform for both grassroots and nationally recognized talent. Coverage from outlets like The Seattle Times, KEXP, and Alaska Airlines Beyond Magazine only underscores FVMF’s growing status as a must-attend festival in the region.

Whether you're a longtime fan or a curious newcomer, this weekend's Fisherman’s Village Music Festival promises to be a standout celebration of music, culture, and community. Don’t miss it.
