Food Truck/Company Name:

She's Got Bowls Food Truck

Name and job title:

Susan Jensen Chef/Owner

Your food truck's hometown?:

Everett

Type of food you serve?:

Comfort Food in Bowls

HOW LONG HAS YOUR FOOD TRUCK BEEN OPEN?:

This is our first year of business but I have been cooking/been a chef for 38 years

What inspired you to start your business AND WHAT MAKES YOU UNIQUE?:

I love what I do and love it even more when my guests tell me they just love the food. My concept is comfort food in bowls, and a large majority of my dishes could be considered Classic American Cuisine with a twist, but comfort food can mean so many different things to so many different people.

What's your personal favorite item that you serve?:

It would have to be either my Top Secret Chicken Bowl or my Chicken Cordon Bleu Mac and Cheese Bowl. I have been finessing my cheese sauce recipe for almost 20 years and I have been making my Top Secret Sweet Chili Sauce for over 20 years.

What food do you serve that your customers like the most?:

My Top Secret Chicken Bowl is probably my most popular dish and you will almost always find it on my menu.

What’s the most challenging part of running your business or an obstacle you've had to overcome?:

I have two dishes that pretty much stay on my menu all the time (Top Secret Chicken Bowl and the Chicken Cordon Bleu Mac and Cheese Bowl) and then I have 3-4 dishes that I rotate to help keep the menu interesting. Coming up with new comfort dishes would have to be my biggest challenge, but one that I take on gladly... Love keeping my guests interested.

Does your menu cater to any food allergies, vegetarian, or vegan options?:

I always try and have gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options on my menu since I know how hard it is to find something to eat when you have dietary restrictions and believe that everyone should have something yummy to eat.

Favorite place to eat (other than your business)?:

Love trying different pizza places

Are you excited for the 2023 Everett Food Truck Festival? Is there anything you'd like people to know?:

We are super excited to participate this year since we were not able to participate last year since we had just opened.

Where can people try your food and find you at?:

You can follow me on Instagram, FB or my website www.shesgotbowls.com to find out where I am serving. I also try and post my menu on Instagram and FB every week so you can see if your favorite dish is on the menu this week.
