Reel Rock 17: A Night of Inspiration and Adventure Coming to Historic Everett Theatre

Summit Everett is proud to present Reel Rock 17, an exciting evening of adventure films, on March 17, 2023. The event features three heart-stopping films that showcase some of the year's biggest climbing and adventure stories. Reel Rock 17 is presented by The North Face and supported by Black Diamond and Yeti, with additional sponsors, including Adidas | 5.10 and The Everett Mountaineers.
The three films featured in the event are set to take audiences on a wild expedition to the Nameless Tower in Pakistan, a cutting-edge route in a massive limestone cave in France, and a journey to Palestine's West Bank to explore the power of climbing to change lives. Whether you're a seasoned climber or simply interested in the world of adventure sports, these films are sure to captivate and inspire.

The event is hosted by Summit Everett, a locally-owned climbing gym in Downtown Everett. The gym has been a climbing facility since the 90s when it was originally called Cascade Crags. The gym strongly focuses on building community and offering a fun, welcoming space for climbers of all levels.
Reel Rock films have been produced for decades and are known for their high-quality cinematography and thrilling storytelling. The films are suitable for anyone interested in adventure sports. They are comparable to hit documentaries such as Free Solo and Dawn Wall, which were both popular in theaters and on Netflix.
Summit Everett previously hosted Reel Rock 14 a few years ago, and it was a great success, with a fantastic turnout. The gym is once again excited to bring this exciting event to the local community and allow climbers and adventure enthusiasts to come together and share their passion.
