Make a lacquerware-inspired accessory in one afternoon with instructor Jenny Wang. Students design and assemble a small decorative piece, such as a hair stick or hair clip, using copper bases, mother-of-pearl inlay and decorative materials, and learn about the history and visual style of Chinese lacquerware along the way. Eco-friendly materials stand in for traditional natural lacquer.

Registration is $125. Ages 8 and up, all levels, no prior experience necessary. Optional premium upgrades are available from the instructor during the workshop.
