5 Healthy Places to Enjoy a Meal in Everett

Minute Reads_3 minute.png

Lately we've been talking a lot about sweets in honor of the February EVVY Awards. To balance things out, we decided to share about some of Everett's healthier options. Here are 5 places to eat in Everett that wont leave you filled with regret.

1. Cafe Wylde

From smoothies and freshly blended juices, to salads, tacos, and more. Cafe Wylde is organic and 100% vegetarian. They go out of their way to ensure their ingredients are filled with nutrients, and specialize in sourcing fresh herbs and ingredients.

In place of meat, they use a delicious alternative called jackfruit. Word on the street is their sage mint shake tastes just like chocolate chip mint 😉.

Location: 2918 Hoyt Ave suite 101

2. Valley Organic Deli

Everything they make is organic and seems quite healthy. The owner tries to make things without added sugar as much as possible. All their salad dressings are house made, which reduces any junk going in them. The salads are also good sized with a nice mix of protein and veggies.

Location: 2805 Colby Avenue

3. Cafe Zippy

All organic. Great coffee and sandwiches with plenty of vegan options. The owner, Marilyn, is REALLY passionate about healthy living. She's always at the forefront of new trends in healthy lifestyles and eating, and likes to share what she's learning. She is always bringing in new fun things to try out, such as her dandelion root coffee substitute: a concoction of all kinds of healthy herbs but w/ a coffee like flavor and consistency.

4. Sno-Isle Food Co-op

The Co-op offers so much. Food, deli, classes, so many awesome resources. They've made many changes the last few years and have really upped their game. Their sandwiches, smoothies are all delicious and well priced.

Also in their deli section they always have 2 kinds of soup and a hot option like Mac and cheese or lasagna. They have a cold case where you can grab an assortment of nutrient dense salads, and to-go meals. They also have an awesome bulk section for grocery shopping.

Location: 2804 Grand Ave.

5. The Sisters

You guys know The Sisters. We recently shared a post all about 'em. Fresh home made cookin' with vegetarian options to boot.

Location: 2804 Grand Ave. (right next to the Co-op)
