A Cut Above the Rest: Discover Bella Dolche on Everett Mall Way

For most of my adult life, I was fine bobbing around to different hair stylists depending on my location or their availability. After a bad luck run of less than stellar haircuts, however, I  decided it’d be best to do things differently.
Basically, if you find a product or a person that does good things for your hair, repeat. I found Bella Dolche Aveda Salon and Spa on Everett Mall Way.

As a frugal woman, I have had to learn when it’s okay to spend a little money on myself. I now believe that when it comes to haircare, you generally get what you pay for. But at Bella Dolche, it’s not just the winning final product you walk away with, it is the experience as well. After arriving you’ll be offered a complimentary beverage, coffee or tea, and (score!) you can now enjoy beer or wine. Sit down in the salon chair and they will start you out with an essential oil scalp massage.

Their hair-dying products boast 97% naturally derived for a damage-free result. Bella Dolche uses Aveda, a line of natural hair and beauty products that states “what you put on your body should be as natural and healthy as what you put in it.” Aveda also strives to be a brand that is environmentally friendly. They lead the way in the industry as the only beauty company that is entirely run on wind power. Easy breezy, and pretty cool.

The stylist that I normally see at Bella Dolche, Becky, has been there since I started frequenting the salon four years ago, and a low turnover rate is not just a good sign but seems befitting to their mission. “…to provide exceptional artistry to our guests by continuing our education, maintaining professionalism and remaining inspired by our work… From our perspective beauty comes from within and we are proud to cultivate beautiful people.”

That true beauty comes from within—now there’s not just a place, but a philosophy I can get behind. Bella Dolche Aveda Salon and Spa has done me good. If you’re not already a regular, I highly recommend trying out a place that in my opinion, is a cut above the rest.
