5 Fast Favorites: Alex Lark

Alex Lark works at Housing Hope and is an Everett Planning Commissioner, so he knows a thing or two about our fair city. Read his answers to our all-new set of Five Fast Favorites questions and give a listen to his podcast interview here and check out more of the Live in Everett Podcast.

1. FAVORITE PLACE IN EVERETT TO TELL YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT?

Curries

Curries is the spot for Indian food in Everett, for sure. And a quick pro tip: If you’re living that plant-based lifestyle, you can easily eat vegan there.

Watch us eat at Curries.

2. FAVORITE PLACE IN EVERETT TO GET OUTSIDE

Walter E. Hall Park

Walter E. Hall Park is a great place to get outside in South Everett, mostly because it has a rad skatepark. It’s also a great place to kick a soccer ball around, too.

3. YOUR FAVORITE PLACE IN EVERETT?

Lanna Thai

Everyone we know always recommends Lanna Thai as a place to go in Everett, and since it’s Alex’s favorite place in Everett, we should probably head there soon for a Live in Everett TV. Anyone down for lunch?

4. FAVORITE ANNUAL EVENT IN EVERETT?

Fisherman’s Village Music Festival

Everett’s biggest music festival, Fisherman’s Village brings in bands from all over the PNW and the country to downtown Everett. We can’t wait to see what Everett Music Initiative is cooking up for next year’s festival.

5. FAVORITE HIDDEN GEM

Kate’s Greek and American

Go to Kate’s. Get the gyro. Eat the gyro. The gyro is good. You feel good. Good.

Watch us eat a gyro at Kate’s then go get your own.
