Sketchy Everett Volume 7 - The Everett Public Library

One of the best places in Everett won't cost you a dime to visit, but you'll come away with immeasurable wealth (as long as you return it when it's due). Of course, I'm talking about the Library!

The Everett Public Library has two locations, the Evergreen Branch, and the iconic 1934 main building. (Take a moment with me to appreciate that we have trees growing IN our library). It's filled with art, from paper crane chains to historical map murals to the words between the thousands of covers.

Beyond books, the library offers a knowledgeable (and super helpful) staff, a safe, warm place to spend time, a coffee shop and a thoughtful range of concerts and lectures. When was the last time you wandered the shelves?

Elizabeth is an Everett, Washington-based artist and graphic designer. Using pen and watercolor, she sketches from life and creates 'illustrative infographics,' often featuring Northwest themes.
