5 Free Events Starting in June in Everett

This may be a bold statement, but Everett is one of the best cities ever when it comes to planning free summer events. Here are 5 upcoming events starting in June that you can enjoy with family and won't cost you a dime.

P.S. There are WAY more events happening in Everett than listed here. Check out our event calendar for all the upcoming events in Everett.

1. Free Children’s ConcertsThursday mornings from June 6th - August 17th

Get your kids out of the house and into Silver Lake Park Thursday mornings between June 6th and August 17th for free music concerts catered specifically for the youngsters. The 2017 lineup is filled with top-notch, whacky artists. More info here.

2. Sorticulture: June 9th - 11th

If you like art and gardening, this is the event of the year for you. June 9th thru 11th at Legion Memorial Park there will be dozens upon dozens of vendors selling gorgeous and eccentric handmade garden art, food trucks, a wine garden, lectures, music, and more.

Plus, there's a free shuttle that will get you to the event, so you don't have to worry about parking at the park.

3. Music at the Marina: June 29th - Aug 31st

Music at the Marina is a summer classic. Free outdoor live music, dancing, drinks, sunsets, and the smell of old wooden docks and salt water. Get ready to get down on the best outdoor dance floor this summer in Everett. Check out the 2017 lineup, here.

Pro Tip: You can reserve table space at Lombardi’s Italian, but it’ll cost you around $20. It’s worth it if you want to sit and enjoy a great meal with the show.

4. Cinema Under the Stars: Starting July 21st

Cinema Under the Stars is a weekly community event sponsored by the City of Everett. Hosted on the fields of Thornton A. Sullivan Park starting July 21st, each Friday night includes a free showing of a recently released movie and pre-movie entertainment for kids. I'm especially stoked to see the Lego Batman movie and the Pacific Science Center's Super Cool Science Show.

Find all the info you need on their website here.

Schedule:
July 21st: Pete's Dragon
July 28th: Lego Batman
August 4th: Finding Dory
August 11th: Secret Life of Pets
August 18th: Rogue One
