1:00pm: Screening of the documentary Cuts, by Charles Gustafson, a stunning portrayal of the work and life of shingle weavers.

1:45pm:  Real-life shingle sawyer Bill Marcantel comments on the film and opens the floor to questions about shingle weaving.

2:30pm: Everett Public Library Reference Librarian Cameron Johnson presents "Sawdust Barons and Shingle Weavers," the background and context of the 1916 shingle weavers' strike, which led directly to the Everett Massacre.
