Hey y'all, we gotta taco 'bout something with you. May 8th at 6 p.m. we're hosting our second annual Street Taco Eating Contest with our friends down at Mazatlan Mexican Restaurant, and we need YOU to stuff your face with tacos.
It's simple. Pay $20 to enter, eat as many street tacos as you can in 20 minutes, feel immensely satisfied, and possibly win the grand prize of Taco Eating Champ (plus $100 cash and a $100 Mazatlan gift card).

EARTH DAY: Earth Week at EvCC // Plant Swap & Sale @ Everett Community College
All week long EvCC is paying homage to our good ol' Earth with a variety of green events, including a plant swap starting Tuesday at 10 am. Check out their other events throughout the week here.
WATERFRONT DEVELOPMENT: Waterfront Place Community Open House @ the Port of Everett
Get the inside scoop on the upcoming changes around Waterfront Place including the new Fisherman’s Harbor hotel Thursday at 5 pm. Don't worry, it's free to attend and we're sure there'll be some hors d'oeuvres.
FOR THE COMMUNITY: AMEN Everett Free Clinic @ Angel of the Winds Arena
Happening Friday and Sunday starting at 8 am stop by Angel arena for some free medical, dental, and vision services. You don't need proof of insurance, employment, etc. Just bring yourself and any medication you take regularly.
BIKING: 2nd Annual Tour de EFD
Hop on your two wheeler and join the throng of bicyclists as they journey across Everett stopping at each Fire Station Saturday at 9:45 am. It's free, it's fun, and it's a definitely not a race.
FOR THE KIDS: Healthy Kids Day @ the Everett Family YMCA
Free swim time, free bike helmets, and a bunch of other fun activities await your kids at the Y Saturday at 10 am until 1 pm. Admission is free, so go enjoy some pool time.
TOAD-ALY FUN: Frog Fest @ the Evergreen Arboretum
Get with nature and learn about our cute pond friends at this family friendly event Saturday at 12 pm. Admission is $10 for non-members, and activities will include hands-on projects.
MAMA EARTH: Junior Geezer Earth Day Benefit Concert @ Tony V's Garage
Come out to a rocking show Sunday at 6 pm supporting 350 Everett, a group working to bring awareness to our changing climate and usage of fossils fuels.
