Prep Your Belly: Mazatlan's Taco Eating Contest

If you've got an iron stomach that can hold pounds of ground beef, lettuce, tomato, and cheese, you're probably a prime candidate for Mazatlan's upcoming taco eating contest.

Brought to you by Live in Everett and hosted at Mazatlan Mexican Restaurant, fifteen individuals will get a giant plate of tacos and attempt to eat more than their competitors within thirty minutes. The grand event will be held May 9th, 6:30 PM.

If you want to register to be part of this frenzy, click here and purchase your spot for only $20. Said $20 registration includes all the tacos you can eat in 30 minutes.

But what do you get if you win, you ask? The grand prize for the glutonous champ is $300 worth of prizes, including: 

• $100 cash
• $100 gift card to Mazatlan
• $100 worth of Live in Everett swag (That's a lot of bumper stickers).

As part of our Live in Everett TV series, we'll also be filming as you scarf down those tacos. So if you're camera shy (or don't want people seeing you in such a terrifying state) you may want to consider sitting down and having a normal dinner at Mazatlan instead.
