Up & Coming Everett: New Homes go up for Sale at the Riverfront

Back in May we wrote about the new upcoming Riverfront Redevelopment project. A quick reminder on what the project entails- there will be 3 different large sections of the overall development: single family homes, retail town center, and townhouses.

The development is just East of I-5 on 41st street. The entire development will be built along the Snohomish River with trails connecting everything. The City of Everett will also be building a 3 acre park along the river right between the retail town center and the townhouses. This little Riverfront project is a pretty big deal.

This last weekend marked the opening of sales for the first section of the development, the single family homes. That's right. Homes are already up for sale, available to walk through (at least the framing).. and the homes are already selling!

Polygon has already framed up over half a dozen homes and their sales department is open. We were excited to go check things out. When we arrived Saturday afternoon, 2 homes had already sold that first day.

The view as you head East on 41st street toward the development. Not too shabby.

As you head down into the development there's a large round-a-bout. Single family homes to the right (South). Retail town center and town homes will be to the left (North).

Some Numbers-

  • Over 230 single family homes will be built.
  • 3,000-5,000 square foot lot sizes.
  • 6 different models to choose from.
  • 3 different finish packages.
  • Home sizes will range from 1,673 square feet (3 bed, 2.5 bath) up to 2,729 sqft (5 bed, 3 bath, + bonus room).
  • Prices will start in the high $300's and go up to the high fours.

Some of the smaller models on 3,000 sqft lots located as you drive in across from the sales center.

Sales center is on the left. Photo is looking East toward the river showing a couple of the larger models.

A nature preserve borders the West side of the development and serves as a nice peaceful backdrop.

Looking South toward future phases of the single family home development.

We have some mixed feelings about this development, but overall, we like it. We like that we'll have some more modern style housing options in this part of Everett. This new community can also add to the growing positive momentum we see happening all around Everett.

I walked as far East toward the river as the cement went. We were hoping we'd be able to see the river, but it sits down the bank and is lined with trees. Once homes are built here, you might be able to see it from their 2nd stories. You can also see the cement walking path in the distance.

We were hoping for larger yards and better views of the river. Hopefully the walking trails and convenience to highways and Downtown Everett make up for that. We also noticed a little white noise from the surround highways, but that will probably be reduced a bit as the area gets more built up.

The walking path that goes all the way around the development.

You can learn learn more about the development on Polygon's website or by visiting the sales center located at the development. As always, if you need your own real estate agent to represent your interests, we're always here to help with your buying and selling needs.
