Celebrate the completion of the El Sol al Alcance de Tus Manos Community Solar Project and Community Pathway with the Snohomish County PUD in South Everett! The ribbon cutting runs 10-11 AM with remarks from Everett Mayor Cassie Franklin and PUD commissioners, followed by a community celebration from 11 AM-1 PM featuring art project tours, solar education, a take-home solar oven craft, Community Energy Fund info, complimentary refreshments, and free energy-saving items.

The 400-kilowatt solar array generates enough electricity to power about 30 homes a year, with revenue supporting the Community Energy Fund, which helps income-qualified PUD customers pay their utility bills.
