The Dance School Presents: I Love to Dance

FREE EVENT! This annual student showcase gives The Dance School's students a chance to choreograph their own original routine to a song of their choice. This performance allows students to assume the roles of dancer and choreographer in developing choreography, improvisation, directing, and performance skills to produce and perform original routines for the community.

Our 2024 I Love to Dance performance is supported, in part, by a grant from the City of Everett. This event is free and we welcome all members of the community to join us for a fun evening of dance.

Parking: There is plenty of street parking around the venue. We recommend arriving early for those requiring closer proximity parking to the venue.

Imagine a community where everyone has the power to improve public safety—yours, mine, our neighborhoods. That is the future we are building. Dr. David Makin, Associate Professor and Director of the Complex Social Interaction lab at Washington State University, will introduce an initiative to open public safety data to everyone.

Everett Empowered is a new speaker series hosted by WSU Everett for the community. Each event offers an opportunity to experience diverse voices and real conversations about topics ranging from science to art, from technology to culture. Prior to the keynote and Q&A session, enjoy an hour of networking and refreshments.

Join Jeremy Collison, founder of Salish Sea Mushrooms, for an introduction to mushrooming in the Pacific Northwest. This program is perfect for anyone curious about mushrooms. No mycology knowledge or previous foraging experience necessary. Learn about the basics of mushrooming in the Pacific Northwest, find out about native mushrooms, review basic safety concerns, and learn how to identify mushrooms using the inaturalist.org website.
