The Everett Astronomical Society will be at the Evergreen Branch Library. Drop in for the opportunity to handle meteorite samples and learn about their virtually infinite history.

If the sky is clear, gaze through solar telescopes at sun spots and solar prominences. At 3 p.m. University of Washington Professor Emeritus, Dr. Julie Lutz, will discus women in astronomy.

At dusk on Friday October 7 and Saturday October 8 the astronomical society will also host a public viewing at Everett’s Harborview Park (weather permitting).
