Navy Band Northwest will perform their free, all-ages holiday concert on Wednesday at the Everett Performing Arts Center. This show features both their jazz ensemble and rock band. More info here.

FRIDAY NIGHT AT XFINITY ARENA
No joke, Lil Wayne is coming to Everett's Xfinity Arena on Friday. It's not really our bag, but good news for fans – tickets are still available here.

BUCK'S HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE
THURSDAY EVENING AT BUCK'S AMERICAN CAFE
Join us at Buck's on Thursday night for an awesome event that benefits Housing Hope. The Holiday Open House will feature a buffet (the food at Buck's is awesome!), no-host bar, raffle and live music for just $10! Plus, all proceeds benefit the great work of Housing Hope. More info here.

EAT + DRINK
We tried the new Firehouse Subs on Everett Mall Way last Friday. If you haven't noticed this place yet, it's on Everett Mall Way, just south of Target, on the right (if you're headed south). It's a national franchise, so it comes with all of the good and bad that franchises sometimes have. For example, it was super clean, the food came out fast and the staff was well-trained and really friendly. On the flip side, it all felt a little mechanized and inauthentic. We both got subs, Garret upgraded to a meal and we got out of there for less than $20. The food was honestly really good (well above Subway or Quiznos), but if we had to choose an Everett sub sandwich for our last meal, we'd still pick Red Rock.
