This week we're highlighting some of our favorite spots throughout the city!

You could visit the following places separately or group them to into a local neighborhood day trip.

Today we're featuring North Everett. Enjoy!

Checking out Cafe Zippy's new location at 1502 Rucker Ave. For more Everett goodness: www.LiveInEverett.com

Cafe Zippy
1502 Rucker Avenue

Tucked into leafy Northwest Neighborhood, Cafe Zippy is an Everett classic. Owner Marilyn has been serving up espresso and organic snacks for over a decade.

Check out this spot for dining al fresco, live music, poetry readings, and walkable accessibility.

Ask about their vegan pie because it's 💯.

Funko
2802 Wetmore Avenue
(425) 783-3616

The toy manufacturer's flagship store is like a small amusement park. Admission is free, but expect to spend some money because this space serves as a retail spot, too. Check out larger-than-life Star Wars characters and Batmen (plural) and peruse Funko merchandise, mostly in the form of their trademark toy, Funko Pops!

Sunken Ship TattooHot Rod Heidi's
1301 Hewitt Avenue
(425) 303-3344

Hot Rod Heidi's and Sunken Ship share a storefront on Hewitt. The best tattoo shop in town. Solid work from all of the artists. Mostly you have to book an appointment, but they do take walk-ins as they're able. Have time to kill while your pal gets inked?

Where to start? Get a cappuccino, pick out some colorful macaroons, buy a rustic loaf for later. Then select your favorite vinyl record to throw on the sound system.

Easy to access by foot. Clean. Did we mention the wall of records? Choux Choux is the classiest bakery in town.

Imagine Children's Museum
1502 Wall Street
(425) 258-1006
