Sketchy Everett Volume 27: Forest Park Pool

At 197 acres, Forest Park is the largest park in Everett. It has a Swim Center, water playground, animal farm, tennis and basketball courts, bbq areas, wooded trails and the several event venues, including Floral Hall. I was amazed to discover that Forest Park has been around for over 100 years!

The community pool is well used. All ages are welcome and there are activities throughout the day. All three of the Everett high schools' swim teams practice at the pool. The swim center building style is indicative of it's birth year: 1976, during a wave of pool-building that hit the area (per this City of Everett video). And people say that nothing good came out of the 70s!

Visit this beautifully located park at 802 East Mukilteo Blvd.
