Happy 2024!

We’ve been reflecting on the “Best of 2023,” from our Top 5 Stories of the Year to the Top 5 New Businesses in Everett. Next on the list, we’re checking in on home prices over this last year. Reviewing Redfin’s sold data, it appears 923 single family homes sold over the year. Let’s look at Everett's least and most expensive home sales of 2023.*

LEAST EXPENSIVE

To find Everett’s least expensive home sale in 2023, we started sifting through homes that sold for less than $375,000. 13 results appeared. Of course many homes in the lower end of price spectrum are “contractor specials” and/or require all-cash.

Though, we were pleasantly surprised to see in February 2023 this 688 square foot 1 bed 1 bath home in Everett’s Bayside Neighborhood sold for $280,000.

While the home was marketed as being “sold as-is,” and maybe had some rough edges to polish, the pictures show an overall pretty clean blank slate to cozy into. 1 parking space, 3000 square foot lot, and lush green grass. Not too shabby, if anyone has a time machine, we’ll take it!

Most Expensive

On the other end of the spectrum, for the most expensive home sale of the year we searched sales over 1.5 million and got 4 results.

All 4 sold for right around the 1.5-1.6 million dollar mark, but this new construction took the cake with a sales price of $1,689,600.

About 6 times the price and 6 times the size of Everett’s most affordable home; this 3,500 square foot beauty packs 6 times the luxury with extensive natural light and designer finishes. 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms on a quarter acre lot in the Boulevard of Bluffs Neighborhood (AKA “Everett-teo”, as we’ve heard it called).

Cozy up on your covered deck next to the outdoor fireplace while enjoying views of the sound and mountains. Slab counters, vaulted ceilings, huge soaker tub. If anyone has an extra winning lottery ticket, we’ll take this one, too!
