“The Elves and the Shoemaker,” based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale, is presented by the California Theatre Center on Saturday, at the Everett Performing Arts Center, 2710 Wetmore Ave., Everett. The event begins with a pre-show Holiday Party. In a small village in the Black Forest, a shoemaker and his wife face a cold and bleak winter until a pair of elves, sent to do a “good deed for a human," arrive. With a bit of luck and resourcefulness, Holly & Berry bring a happy holiday season for the shoemaker.
