The Bayside neighborhood includes the northwest part of downtown, access to the waterfront, and part of the historic district. Being close to everything makes this neighborhood very convenient and walkable. Many homes towards the west side of the neighborhood have amazing views of the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains.
WHY IT'S GREAT
BOUNDARIES
North
19th Street
East
Broadway
South
Hewitt Avenue
West
Port Gardner Bay
There are so many fun things to enjoy in the Bayside neighborhood. Pick up some fresh fruit at the Sno-Isle Natural Foods Store, enjoy the best pancakes in town at The Sister's Cafe, or grab a cold one at The Anchor Pub just to name a few. Bayside is also home to Everett’s first park - Clark Park - which has tennis courts (with lights) and a playground, and plenty of space to play capture the flag or ultimate Frisbee.
THINGS TO DO
Marina
Everett’s Marina is the largest marina on the west coast, and a great place to boat or fish.
Farmers Market
On Sundays during the summer you can enjoy the Farmers market down by the waterfront.
In the summer a $2 ferry runs every half hour transporting you to the long sandy beach where you can swim, play volleyball, and witness world class kiteboarding.
Jetty Island
In the summer a $2 ferry runs every half hour transporting you to the long sandy beach where you can swim, play volleyball, and witness world class kiteboarding.
Pigeon Creek Trailhead
This paved trail starts at the west end of Everett Avenue and is approximately a half mile long. There’s a small private beach at the end of the trail located on the south end of the Port of Everett.
The Everett Public Library
Along with tons of books, movies, and music to check out, the library always has great free events happening.
The Bayside neighborhood (like most of North Everett) is filled with early 20th century historic craftsman and cottage style homes. Filled with historic charm, character, and changes over the ages - no two homes are alike.
