Summer Friday evenings at the Port of Everett Marina is the perfect place to take in a free outdoor movie with the Sail In Cinema series through August 19. Bring the family out for some movie fun, or invite your friends down to the waterfront to enjoy a movie in the park or view by boat. This new Sail in Cinema program takes place at the Port of Everett's new Boxcar Park and adjacent North Docks on Friday evenings, July 15 - August 19. The Port will host six moving showings in summer 2016, and guests can view the movies by land or by boat (guest moorage at North Guest Docks 6 and 7). Enjoy free admission! Movies begin at dusk, between 8:30 and 9:30 p.m.

Whether watching by land or boat, be sure to pack some blankets. Summer nights on the water can get a bit chilly. If you are viewing by land, feel free to bring chairs. Free fresh popped popcorn will be served while supplies last, and vendor snacks and drinks will be available. Movie goers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

In the event of rain or extreme weather, the Port will cancel the movie. Cancellations will be posted online.
