The EVVY Awards: Everett's Best Secondhand Store Winners

Minute Reads_1 or 2 minute.png

Digging through secondhand stores is a pastime that many enjoy, us included. Whether it’s finding old video games tucked away under a shelf or that perfect vintage flannel, a trip to a secondhand store is a perfect (and cheap!) way to spend an afternoon.

So which store has the best bargains?

Let’s see who you picked for Everett’s Best Secondhand Store!

In 3rd Place: Assistance League of Everett

A thrift store with a mission, Assistance League of Everett’s proceeds go toward philanthropic programs and their Operation School Bell program, providing kids with school clothes.

In 2nd Place: Value Village

Yeah… a national chain placed second in the EVVYs, but you can score big at the Everett Value Village. We’ve found some crazy cool things at the ol’ Val Vil, so it makes sense that they would show up in the running for Everett’s Best Secondhand Store

In 1st Place: 2nd Look Consign & Design

This may be the most bittersweet EVVY Award winner we’ve ever had. 2nd Look closes Friday, November 9. I know, right?! So sad, but they go out winners. Go see them before it’s too late to grab some vintage goodies. RIP 2nd Look. 😢

HONORABLE MENTION: ReNewWorks

Since 2nd Look is closing (or closed, if you’re reading this article past the second week of November), we decided to add another winner. ReNewWorks sells furniture and home decor, and a portion of the proceeds goes toward Housing Hope to provide housing for low-income residents around Snohomish County and Camano Island.

Tyler is a big fan of ReNewWorks, and has picked up some pretty rad pieces over the years. Maybe you’ll get lucky, too?

Congrats to the winners and everyone who placed. Thanks for keeping Everett’s secondhand game strong!
