Happy block-tober!

Do you like Legos? Yes, you do. Everyone does. Unless you're a parent and you're like:

This is why you're excited to hear that a unique store is coming to South Everett at the end of this month. South Everett Bricks & Minifigs specializes in buying, selling, and trading new and used Legos!

Their Grand Opening is on Saturday, October 28th at 10 AM. There will be Star Wars costumers on site (good for a photo-op), and they will be collecting donations for a local animal shelter. The first 100 store visitors get a limited edition minifig (“minifig” being the cool abbreviation for little Lego guys).

The store will probably appeal most to hardcore fans who want to look through the bulk section for collectable, “retired” pieces.

Kids can come in for birthday parties and dig through containers of Lego heads, bodies, and accessories to design their own minifig. Grandparents and parents will also like the shop as a place to take their young builder for inspiration.

Very good!

Everett is becoming a destination for nerd, gaming, and comic book culture. Two doors down from Bricks & Minifigs is a brand new board game store called Geeky Villain.

Everett is also home to AFK Tavern, Everett Comics, and Funko.

Cool stuff.

You can check out the grand opening FB event below for more info. Tag your favorite block builder and let them know that Everett, Washington is the destination for all things geek.
