Minute Reads_3 minute.png

Toggle's Bottle Shop is open right now on Hewitt Avenue, in the heart of downtown Everett.

And it’s amaaaaaazing.

Here's the scoop.

Colin Lothrop (pictured) and his wife Danielle own and operate Toggle's. They say that Everett has Seattle's cool vibe, but is "calmer" in a good way.

THE DRINKS

All beverages can be enjoyed at the shop or can be taken to go.

They have 8 coolers, 23 doors filled with bottles and cans. They have 500 labels but may scale up to 750 labels soon.

Toggles has 21 rotating taps. Beer and cider on draft. Check out their full draft list here.

They offer 64 oz. growler fills. Or can your own beverage in a "crowler" (32. oz can, taller than your average tallboy).

Wine is served by the glass. Also soda pop for non-drinkers.

Toggles is serving a special IPA brewed especially for their opening. 5 Rights Brewing Company and Toggle's present Toggle's Groove.

THE BOTTLE CLUB

Maybe the best value lies in Toggle's Bottle Club. It's limited to 100 members annually.

Membership is an annual fee of $99 and includes the following benefits: $1 off anything on tap (any time), first corkage fee waived per visit, t-shirt of your choice, a Toggle's Bottle Shop growler (first year only) with fill of your choice, swag, exclusive events, and more.

All the beers and ciders, separated by type (i.e. pilsner, stout, etc.)

THE SPACE

The historic building has exposed brick walls and skylights a la Narrative Coffee. Brass countertops, pendant lighting. A bar front made out of repurposed doors (doorknobs still intact). Window counter seats that look out on Hewitt Avenue.

Toggle's is a dog-friendly establishment. Bring Fido (only if he's friendly, please) and a leash.

Outside food can be ordered from nearby restaurants (and there are some good ones on that stretch of Hewitt). Or bring your own food in.

What are you waiting for? Fill 'er up and support local biz.

Cheers!
