5 Fast Favorites: Eric from Bayside Bikes

Eric Smith, owner of Bayside Bikes in downtown Everett, was born and raised here, so of course he's gonna have some wicked-cool picks for his Five Fast Favorites. Give a listen to his whole episode here and check out more of the Live in Everett Podcast.

1. FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT

Tacobook

One of the first Live in Everett TV episodes was about Tacobook, the oddly named but insanely delicious taco spot by Everett Community College. Tyler swears by the carnitas, and he knows a thing or two about tacos, so I would go with that one.

Watch us stuff our face at Tacobook.

2. FAVORITE PLACE TO DRINK

Independent Beer Bar

The Independent is a special place. They have lots of beer and wine and cider, they're only a block up from Angel of the Winds Arena, they now serve potato dumplings, the staff is friendly, they let dogs in there, they have trivia and are a part of the Everett Art Walk. I could go on, but my word count is only so much. Go drink there.

3. WATCH THE SUNSET?

Pigeon Creek Trail & Beach

For this sunset view spot, you gotta put in a little work to get there. Pigeon Creek Beach is a mile long walk (or a four minute bike ride) along Pigeon Creek Trail along the port. Once you get to Pigeon Creek Beach, there's some picnic tables to rest on and watch that great yellow orb collapse into the horizon.

4. FAVORITE WORD TO DESCRIBE EVERETT

Gumption

5. FAVORITE THING TO DO WHEN YOU HAVE FREE TIME

Bike ride down (to) the waterfront
