Seattle Met had this to say about Fisherman’s Music Festival “... the once-humble fest has made an unlikely name for itself as a regional destination for live music …”

“Unlikely”?

Never underestimate the sophisti-gritty people of Everett.

With Ryan Crowther at the helm, Everett Music Initiative knows how to put on a show, and Everett, where good things happen, is the perfect venue for the regional Fisherman’s Village Music Festival, now in its 9th year.

If you’re looking for a good time, here’s what you need to know.

Music

The lineup is packed with talent from all genres and from all over the country. Headliners include Digable Planets, Deep Sea Diver and Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears. Get a taste of what’s to come on Spotify or click the artist listings on the festival page to check out their web pages. Plan out your itinerary here

Wrist Bands

Ticket prices are $30 for an all-age wristband good at three all-ages venues, a weekend wristband for $99 and  $140 for VIP weekend wristbands. You can also purchase single-day wristbands.

You can pick up your wristbands at Historic Everett Theater on Thursday from 6 to 10 p.m., Friday 5 to 10 p.m. and at the entrance to the main stage at Wetmore and Wall on Saturday from 3 to 10 p.m.  Tickets will be available for purchase at these locations too.

Venues

Historic Everett Theater
The Historic Everett Theater, which opened in 1901, is Everett’s great-grandpa venue. The gorgeous building has a balcony, is rumored to be haunted and is up for sale if you are looking to buy. HET is one of three all-ages venues for the festival.

Tony V’s Garage
Tony V’s has been around since 2008. We had a slight panic during the pandemic when we thought they would close for good. It is our classic beer bar and music venue.

Black Lab Gallery
Some of us may have been confused if it was a music venue or an art gallery when Black Lab Gallery first opened, but clearly, they have established themselves as both. They relocated to a larger, more fabulous space during the pandemic and now have two floors plus a partnership with Sol Food Express to use the take-out window feature on the building. Black Lab festival shows will be all ages.

Lucky Dime is Everett’s baby-sister venue, opened during the pandemic by local artist couple Amber and Alex Vincini. They took over Black Lab’s old space and have created something equally hip as their predecessor. All ages are welcome to Lucky Dime festival shows.

Main Stage
The Main Stage is an outdoor venue and will be located at Wetmore and Pacific Avenue, facing north.

FREE Night Market

An all-ages night market at the 2900 block of Wetmore is free to enter and will have tons of food vendors, an artisan marketplace, live music and drinks. On Friday it will be open from 4 to 10 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 10 p.m.

Parking

Parking is free in downtown Everett. The Everpark Garage is at 2815 Hoyt Avenue between Hewitt and California and has free parking after 6 p.m. on weekdays and all day on the weekend. Street parking is free too, but there’s a limit of 90 minutes before 6 p.m. on weekdays.
