THINGS TO DO IN EVERETT WASHINGTON

ISLAND ADVENTURES WHALE WATCHING TOURS
MULTIPLE DATES

Gray whales make one of the longest migrations of any mammal on earth. Every year they swim over 10,000 miles round-trip between Mexico's nursery lagoons and feeding grounds in the Arctic. Right now they're passing through Everett and you can see them by heading out on a whale watching tour that departs from the Everett Marina. More info here.

TACO TUESDAY
TUESDAY NIGHT AT SOL

Normally we would not make such a big deal about a weekly event that most people know about. BUT it's going to be a very nice week (see the weather forecast below) and Sol's amazing outdoor patio just opened up. Tacos + sun + margarita + friends = smiles. Check out their website.

GEORGETOWN BREWING NIGHT
WEDNESDAY NIGHT AT THE ANCHOR

Georgetown Brewing is hosting a brewer's night at the Anchor on Wednesday. Head on down for a little hump day fun. More info here.

MAKERS MARKET APRIL EDITION
SATURDAY AT BASECAMP

The Everett Makers Market is a popular monthly gathering of makers who sell their handmade goodness. Catch the April edition this Saturday at Basecamp. Check out the list of vendors and find more info here.

SUPERHERO DAY
SATURDAY AT IMAGINE CHILDREN'S MUSEUM

Hey parents! Saturday is Superhero Day at Imagine Children's Museum. Dress the kiddos up and celebrate Earth Day with loads of super(hero) fun activities. Details here.

YOGAMOSA
SATURDAY MORNING AT BLUEWATER DISTILLING

Spend Saturday morning doing yoga and enjoying delicious cocktails next to the stills at Bluewater Distilling. We've visited before and we totally dug it! Plus, we were literally the only guys...hint hint...single dudes. More info here.

LIGHT RAIL PUBLIC COMMENTS MEETING
MONDAY (4/25) AT EVERETT STATION

Want to see the light rail come to Everett before you die? Us too. There's a public comment meeting on ST3 next Monday at the Everett Station. All community members are advised to attend. More info here.

EAT + DRINK

After work on Friday we finally stopped in to check out the happy hour at Bluewater. If you haven't been down there for happy hour, do it now! Order the Halcyon Days cocktail and the fish tacos. They're both heavenly and will only set you back about $12 (total).

We ended up at the Soundview on Saturday night after the EMI show. When we walked in we were heckled by a group of people chowing on burgers and going on about how the Soundview MUST win the EVVY award for best burger. The burgers looked pretty good so we ordered midnight burgers. No regrets – they were great. But the best? We'll see. Vote for your favorite burger here.

ON THE BLOG

Elizabeth's latest Sketchy Everett post will make you thirsty. Check it here.

Local band TELLERS (formerly Preacher's Wife) released a new EP last Friday. We've got it on the blog. Give it a spin here.
