Port of Everett: So Much Goodness + Community Open House

There are so many great things happening at the Port of Everett we had to write this story just to try and keep track of them all.

From new businesses having grand openings to Jetty Island days, boat tours, new development in the works, and an upcoming community open house to boot- here are just a few of the exciting things happening at the Port of Everett.

OPEN NOW - Sound 2 Summit Brewing

Sound 2 Summit officially opened its new brewery earlier this month. This is Sound 2 Summit’s 2nd location, their first being in Snohomish. We stopped by on our way to a show on a Friday night, and the place was packed. Apparently, people really like pizza and beer.

PS- we heard in the pizza department they have options for gluten-free and vegan pizzas.

MORE CRAFT GOODNESS - COMING SOON

Speaking of beer, One of Everett’s oldest operating breweries, Lazy Boy Brewing, is also slated to open at the Everett waterfront.

The Muse Whiskey & Coffee, which is transforming the historic Weyerhaeuser building into a speak-easy style coffee and Whiskey bar will be opening soon.

The new Asian-inspired Fisherman Jack’s and South Fork Baking Co. will be opening at Fisherman’s Harbor’s "restaurant row,” and Woods Coffee will be opening just off Marine View Drive next to Sound 2 Summit.

In a recent press release, The Port of Everett announced a new Ship-themed Playset at Jetty Landing. The playset will honor the historic Equator and will be installed at Jetty Landing Park near the boat launch later this summer.

The Port shared, The playset, which offers ADA accessible features, includes slides, deck-to-deck climbers, a porthole panel, a nautical bow, a stern climber, a pipe wall and a tower, as well as an octopus and a baby orca whale.

BUT WAIT - THERE’S MORE

We didn’t even get into the Port’s other businesses slated to open, Anisoptera Spa, Rustic Cork Wine Bar, and Menchies @ the Marina.

Not to mention the Port’s destination retail “wine walk” they are developing, with Covington Cellars, Two Vintners and the Port recently announced that Hamilton Cellars has signed on for a 10 year lease to open a wine tasting room at the Port. And the Port of Everett is continuing to actively recruit more businesses.
