THINGS TO DO IN EVERETT WASHINGTON

ISLAND ADVENTURES WHALE WATCHING TOURS
MULTIPLE DATES

The Gray Whales are hanging out in Everett for awhile on their way up to Alaska for the summer. Hop aboard a tour with Island Adventures and catch a glimpse of these magnificent creatures. They guarantee whale sightings or your money back. We've been and would have been happy even if we didn't see whales. The boat ride alone is worth it (in our opinion). There's plenty of cool nature things to see and they were serving up Frito Pies in the galley. Book your trip here.

RAIN GARDEN WORKSHOP(S)
MULTIPLE DATES (SEE LINK FOR DETAILS)

Everett residents take note! The City of Everett offers a $2,500 rebate to homeowners who install an approved rain garden. Rain gardens are a great, low-maintenance alternative to a lawn. Rain gardens can be shaped and sized to fit your yard, provide habitat for local wildlife and pollinators, recharge groundwater and can assist with some drainage issues that you may experience on your property. Learn how to construct a rain garden at one of the city's workshops. Click here for dates and more info.

EAT + DRINK

There's a new spot that just opened in Downtown called Valley Organic Deli. We're ashamed to admit that we have not been there, yet, but we've heard great things. We'll pop in soon and get a full review for y'all! Until then, check out their menu here.

We did some more happy hour 'research' for the EVVY awards last week and discovered the $5.00 personal nachos as the New Mexicans. Pair it with one of their $5.00 scratch margaritas and prove to your stomach that money can buy happiness.

ON THE BLOG

The Growler stopped into the new craft been heaven, The Independent. Read his post here.

There's a snazzy little affordable bungalow for sale in Riverside. We stopped in and previewed it. Check it out.
