Ruen Thai - Chill Vibe Off Broadway

I've been going to this place since it was Thai on Broadway.

It's since changed ownership, but the quirky interior remains.

There are the wooden benches and pagoda motifs, indoor plants and a skylight. A veranda wraps around the outside past Thai statuary.

You can't miss if you go there: the whole outside of the building is painted an electric neon yellow.

Ruen Thai is notable for their large portions at affordable prices. For me this has always been a take-half-the-plate-home type of place.

I like to get yellow curry there. They know their way around coconut milk and tofu. As a veggie-type person I respect this and esteem Ruen Thai for their expertise in this matter.

The fried tofu is bomb, the phad thai is bomb (big green onions and crunchy sprouts), and the servers I've had have always been helpful and chill.

And Singha beer = ðŸ‘Œ

Ruen Thai delivers. That's a big plus on those evenings where the outside world seems way too rainy.

Ruen Thai is a great place to visit or order from.

Anybody else like to go here?

It's never wrong to Ruen your day.
