The City and Everett Police Department are hosting a community safety event focused on north Everett neighborhoods as a result of interest in learning more about available resources from law enforcement agencies and how neighborhoods can enhance community safety. Presenters will share information about personal and community safety, gang education, available law enforcement resources, safe utilization of common areas, and how to get help. Speakers will be from the Everett Police Department, Everett Code Enforcement, Snohomish County Regional Drug & Gang Task Force, Everett Park & Recreation Rangers, and SNOPAC911. There will be an opportunity to ask general questions; the event is designed to be an opportunity for information gathering and is not intended to address individual concerns. The event is open to everyone but residents and business owners from the Bayside, Delta, Northwest, Port Gardner and Riverside neighborhoods are especially encouraged to attend.
