EAT + DRINK
We skirted out of the office about 10 minutes early on Friday and headed over to the 7th Street Pub on the north end of Broadway (we've driven past the place countless times – but for some unfortunate reason, had never stopped in). We got a tip from a reader that they have great burgers, so we thought we'd check it out. You know, to research for this months EVVY awards (vote here). It's true, they do have outstanding burgers, as well as a legit beer selection and loads of blue collar charm. The burgers are hand-formed and made fresh daily, they're HUGE (or YUGE as Trump would say) and come with a mountain of hand-cut fries (or several other options). We split the Pub Burger ($11) and left stuffed to the gills. Check this place out.
Lombardi's just sent over news of a new promo starting this weekend called Lombardi's Restaurant Week. $30, three-course dinners with special menu items just for the event. We're for sure going to get the Mahi Mahi Ligurean. Time it right and catch a beautiful sunset from a waterfront table (probably should make reservations). Check out the menu here.
IN OTHER NEWS
Fisherman's Village Music Festival just announced their 2016 lineup last week and it rules. It's especially awesome this year because tickets are PAY WHAT YOU CAN. Not joking, you can seriously pay $0 if you want. We think you should pay something though – we want this festival to be around for many years to come. More info here.
Do you have something good about Everett to share? Maybe a favorite food spot, person, or business worth bragging about? We're looking for more contributors for the blog. Send us a guest post for the blog (or your idea), and if we use it, we'll hook you up with our new 'Iconic Everett' t-shirt.
We did a post about a home for sale over at 1224 Lombard Ave last week. It already went pending (of course). The Everett market is sizzling, and still nearly half the price of Seattle. We're here to help if you or anyone you know is looking to buy or sell in the Everett area.
